Katina is a leading voice-over artist based in New York City. She has been the voice of many national network campaigns and hundreds of other commercial clients, and just completed a 5-book series for Audible which were released in early 2018. She is also a frequent narrator for documentaries including National Geographic, A&E Biography, The History Channel, The Discovery Network, and The Hallmark Channel. A graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse, Katina brings her background and training as a theatre actress to her voice work (see resume). Projects have included promo work for NBC-TV, comedy sketches for HBO, the long-time announcer on NPR's The Infinite Mind, radio plays for NBC, and appearing as a live announcer at Radio City Music Hall and The Museum of Television & Radio.

Current Work
In 2018, Audible released of a 5-book series of romantic thrillers which Katina narrated. In 2016-17, she recorded for Audible, Simon & Schuster, Bloomberg, The Pierre Hotel, BMW, Lowenstein Sandler, and Volvo, among others. 2014-15 clients included Avon, Farxiga (AstraZeneca), Humira, Cliffside Malibu, and political spots, along with narration for audiobooks. She works regularly as a narrator for, including completing a 15-book contract and the April 2016 release of "The Great Game in Cuba"

In the last 7 years, she was the voice for the KnowCrohn's campaign for Abbott Labs (2011-14) as well as the voice for Seroquel for AstraZeneca (2010-2012), both national network TV campaigns. She also recently recorded for Saks Fifth Avenue, Avon, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Lyrica, and Jaguar.

Along with her recording commitments, Katina is a speech and voice coach and a member of the Voice & Speech Trainers Association (VASTA). As a voice actor, she is a member of SAG–AFTRA and is represented by Stewart Talent in New York City.

In over 15 years as a William Morris Agency commercial client, Katina recorded hundreds of commercials for radio and television. Some long-term national network campaigns included Estée Lauder, Caress, Gillette, GE, and Duncan Hines. She has also recorded for IBM, Oil of Olay, Dupont, Band-Aid, Farmers Insurance, Verizon, Duncan Hines, Fact Plus, Campbell's, Fisher-Price, Fedex, Macy's, Mercedes, Sesame Street, and countless others. Recently she has recorded for KitchenAid, Simon & Schuster, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Lyrica.

As an announcer, Katina worked on the Peabody Award-winning radio documentary series, "Voices of an Illness," for NPR and she was heard weekly for 10 years as the announcer for "The Infinite Mind" on WNYC and 300 other public radio stations across the country. She was the live announcer at the Museum of Television and Radio for "State of Mind," an exploration of mental health issues broadcast on NPR; she repeated this role at the Radio City Music Hall for "State of Mind: America 2004."

Katina has narrated numerous documentaries and industrials, including films for National Geographic and a one-hour special for CBS-TV on the Spanish painter Zurbarán (she was also the on-camera host). The film "Full Circle," which she narrated, was shown at the Museum of Modern Art. For the Travel Channel/Discovery Network, she narrated a one-hour documentary about the Tsunami, "Turning the Tide", and she was the voice of Catherine of Aragon for a National Geographic special on Henry VIII. Other narration clients include Estée Lauder, Swarovski, New York Life, Continental Airlines, and the Gold Council. Most recently, she has narrated films for National Geographic, the March of Dimes, Credit Suisse, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Estée Lauder's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, "Mayors for Peace," A&E Biography: Anne Frank, and A&E Biography: Al Pacino.

Promo work has included recording for Dateline NBC, National Geographic, and CBS affiliates. Voice work for medical projects includes the Center for Disease Control, the Federation of Associated Hospitals, and Abbott Laboratories, for whom she was both the narrator and on-camera host in an informational video on diabetes.

Proficient with a wide variety of accents and dialects, Katina has voiced projects using accents including French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, German, Chinese, and American Southern. She speaks conversational Italian, Greek, and French.

Character Voices
Katina has recorded many different character voices, such as Zsa Zsa Gabor, Morticia, and Dolly Parton. She has created voices for toys for Fisher-Price, voiced various characters for children's projects for Scholastic, and portrayed a variety of characters for Soundbites, a political satire radio show on NPR.
